The Contest will be held every three months. These quarterly contests are parts of the main theme. The theme for the next one year is "BODY PIERCING". Every contest will require different body parts to be adorned with body-piercing jewellery. The Quarterly Contest theme and schedule of evaluation will be intimated online.

First Contest Theme

The first design competition beginning 19th March 2001 requires the contestants to conceive and design a lightweight set in 22k plain gold comprising body-piercing jewellery for the ears and navel. Jewellery for the ears are a powerful medium of framing the face and determining the look wanted - their demand cannot be underestimated. As for the new fashion of navel or Belly-button jewellery, it has won hearts in a big way just to prove that 'body piercing' is here to stay. Being so much in demand, it is but natural to begin our contest section with a call for design alternatives for these two body ornamentation.
