For our part when we take up the purpose of Jewellery Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow we recognise our responsibility of keeping alive the design form in the sphere of our age-old tradition of jewellery. It is a tradition that comprises a rich heritage bequeathed from era to era with each successive generation contributing to this form of accessorizing with its distinct culture.

Jewellery has evolved, from yesterday to today, and will continue… to tomorrow! Yes, it remains alive! Beginning so, we wanted to honour the most important aspect of this creativity - the designer. And you, the aspiring designer, are the one whose talent we want to promote. We wish to provide you with a platform to showcase your ideas and convert your imagination into real pieces of ornament that would make the statement you stand for. To keep alive the jewellery tradition and contribute to it, it is the designer in you whom we want to encourage and inspire to reach the pinnacle of ability. We believe this contest is an endeavour in that direction!
