BADGE : A distinctive mark, token, or sign worn as an indication of social position or office .

BADGE AND CHAIN : A long necklace worn by person of high social or political rank, consisting of a central pendant usually ornamented with a symbol of office, held by a long , decorative chain.

BAGUETTE : A gemstone cut so that the top (table) is narrow and rectangular. It's name is derived from the long French baguette loaf. 

BALUSTER : A dress pin, straight and single, or earrings having Vaselike or curved decoration done by turning, in forms reminiscent of stair rails.

BANDEAU : A narrow band around the hair, across the brow.

BANDOLIER : A broad belt that passes over one shoulder, across the chest, and under one arm. 

BANGLE : A jointless rigid bracelet.

BASE METAL : Non-precious metal, such as aluminium, copper, iron and nickel.

BELT : Anything encircling the waist; to support dress, ornaments, weapons; to serve as a bandage for warmth or protection; or to indicate office or social position.

BETROTHAL RING : A ring by which a person becomes engaged, it is also called engagement ring

BIRTHSTONE RING : A ring holding a birthstone.

BLANKS : Flat shapes cut from sheet metal.

BLAZON : A heraldic shield or coat of arms representing armorial bearings, often used to embellish ornaments, or as a brooch, badge, pendant, etc.

BODY ORNAMENT : An ornament that does not fit conveniently into any one category, but may belong to a combination of several.

BODY STAMP : A metal stamp bearing a symbolic device, usually religious pressed into a paste and then stamped on exposed parts of the body as a sign of devotion. Used in India.

BORAX : A flux commonly used when soldering jewellery.

BRACELET : A rigid or flexible ornament worn around the wrist or arm. 

BRACELET WITH ATTACHED FINGER RINGS : In some culture, as in India, this is conceived of as a single compound ornament.

BRACER : An ornament worn on the wrist serving to bind and strengthen it.

BRAID ORNAMENT : Any ornament worn attached to a braid of hair, or suspended from it.

BRASS :  Metal alloy containing 63% copper and 33% zinc.

BRAZING : It is a technique of soldering that uses high temperature alloys to join high temperature metals.

BREAST ORNAMENT : An ornament displayed on the breast.

BRIDAL CROWN : An ornamental crown worn by brides ( Scandinavia ).

BROACH : An ornament requiring a pin to close.

BROACH OR BROOCH : Derived from the French broche, "a spit or skewer." An ornamental clasp of various forms, originally having a tongue, now a pin or loop by which it is attached to a garment.

BUN ORNAMENT : An ornament helping to form a bun of hair or worn on or around it.

BURNISH : Treatment of metal surfaces to darken them.

BURSA : A purse, used for cosmetics, small objects, money, etc.

BUTTON : A catch of various forms and materials, usually a knob or stud-round, oval, square, etc. in shape-used to hold together certain parts of a garment. It is attached to one part and then passes through a loop on the other, or through a buttonhole. Some are an indication of membership in an organization (Army, etc.) or a badge of honor.
